Frequently asked questions
Where do the starting numbers come from?
They are placeholders based on typical ranges, and your numbers may vary. They are not quotes and not facts about any company. Replace each one with a real price from a builder, an agency or a plan you are considering, and the comparison updates right away.
Why is my own time counted in the do-it-yourself total?
Hours you spend building a site are hours you are not quoting jobs or running trucks. Valuing them at what an hour of your time is worth gives a fairer comparison. If you would build it in the evenings anyway, set the hourly value to zero.
What does an agency price usually leave out?
Often the ongoing parts: hosting, security updates, edits after launch and the domain renewal. That is why the agency column has a monthly upkeep line. Ask any agency exactly what is included in the build price and what is billed monthly.
What does the monthly plan include?
The DIPAZE Websites plan is $25 a month and covers the site, hosting and your domain, so there is no separate domain or hosting line to add. You can type any monthly price here to compare it against other plans.
Is the cheapest option always the right one?
No. The lowest total can still cost you jobs if the site looks dated, loads slowly or never gets updated. Use this as a budget check, then weigh how much time you have, how much control you need and how the finished site will look to a customer.
